Resetting Powermax Installer Code Vista

Resetting Powermax Installer Code Vista Average ratng: 4,8/5 236reviews

I just received my new PowerMax+, and started fiddling with the menus not paying too much attention to the manual (the information on the display looked informative enough to me). Along the way I decided to change the Master Installer Code, and later, when giving out user codes to myself and my wife, I made the (fatal?) decision that my own user code should be the same as (my) Master Installer Code. No error messages, so I thought everything went well. Later, however, I experienced several problems hooking up the GSM module and defining it to be the only telephone line.

The panel kept nagging that there was something wrong with the telephone line, even though I also received SMS'es which to me showed that everything worked ok. Anyhow, I decided I wanted to reset the whole system and start over with the installation manual at hand, so I tried to enter the menu choice of 'resetting to factory default'.

But of course, entering my PIN only gave me access to the ordinary menu. None of the default codes (9999, 8888, 1111) worked. I unplugged the power supply and the backup battery and left the panel without power during the night, but as suspected it wasn't enough to make it forget my mistake. Are there anything else I can do in order to undo my coding mistake? Regards, Christopher. 'Christopher Grenness' wrote in message news:4221e6f0$.

Resetting Powermax Installer Code Vista

>>Regards, >>Christopher You could try downloading it. I don't know this panel at all, so I can't offer any specific technical advice. However, most panels can be hardware defaulted. I suggest you try to get hold of installer level programming and installation manuals for your system, and reset everything to factory. I'ts quite likely Jim Rojas can help you in this regard RHC 'Mark Leuck' wrote in message news. >>'Christopher Grenness' wrote in message >news:4221e6f0$.

I can't remember that neither the installation or user's manual said much about it (I might be wrong; I'll check when I get home). I may not know what I'm talking about here but it seems to me that if you have the master user code you should be able to change the master user code to something other than the installer code. Then you can use the installer code to get into installer programming and do whatever you want. Return To Castle Wolfenstein Download Vollversion Chip on this page. Could be that this is impossible on the powermax but worth a shot.
