It seems that the International site was only offering the US English version to customers outside of the UK or the US, which is why you weren't given an option to choose UK English when you purchased. It redirected me on the same Cleverbridge thingy without me noticing.

So my problem now is that I wanted the english version, but the only one I can get access to is a french one. I had hoped it woudl cure a problem with MPX6 freezing my Pc every time I try to create a DVD after seting everythign up. So far trying to create a DVD is a total waste of time, it never ever works and freezes my PC every time so I have to witch off and start all over. It just doesn't tell you specifically why your version of MvP is different. Are you running a foreign language version? If you had installed the patch already, the message would be that you were already up-to-date, which is quite helpful.

There are four language versions of MoviePlus available and if you've downloaded the wrong language update from the website then you will get a message that the update isn't applicable to your version.

Unfortunately Windows Installer shows a standard message in that case which we are not able to override, otherwise we would provide a more descriptive message if we could. If you already have the latest version then you will likely get the same message. As the original post in this thread says, the best way to get any Serif update is to use the option from the Help menu as it will a) be able to detect whether you are already on the latest version and b) if you are not on the latest version it will download the correct update for your product and language.
