Anbale Azhgana Veedu was aired in Star Vijay, with huge fan following. It was yet an another serial, which was dubbed from Hindi to Tamil. The serial was the remake of the Hindi serial ‘’. The story revolved around four sisters named, Poornima, Sruthi, Arthi and Aruna who lived in a small town with their parents, Janardhanan and Revathi. Poornima was a free-spirited girl who was grounded in the values given to her by her parents. Directed by and Ankush Mohla,This serial was produced by and for Hats off Productions private Limited.

The story and screen play was handled by R.M.Joshi and Damini Kamval Shetty, Mithesh Shah, Swati Pande and Garima Goyal. Behenein was such a success and due to the start of the Indian Premier League season, it was threatening that, IPL might draw viewers away, the producers revealed their intention to introduce several plot twists, such as the revelation of the kidnapper of Shruthi's baby, in order to keep the audience interested. Due to relatively good ratings, the channel planned to broadcast a four-hour recap in April. After such a success in Hindi, it was dubbed in Tamil and was successful too. Poornima was a woman with spirit in life.She had three sisters by name, Sruthi, Arthi and Aruna. The story started by showing the day of wedding of Poornima. On the day of Poornima’s wedding, her parents’ room caught fire while they were inside and they died.Poornima and her sisters Shruthi, Arthi and Aruna were heartbroken and therefore the wedding was postponed.
