Opus Chords Sans Fonts

Hello All, According to page 290 of Sibelius First Reference.pdf, 'Opus Chords Sans is a sans serif font and is the default in house styles that use Arial as the main text font.' When I choose any House Style that uses Arial as the the main text font, only Opus Chords and/or Opus PlainChords (serif fonts) display in the score, instead of the correct fonts (Opus Chords Sans or Opus Chords SansCondensed). Chords display correctly as they are being typed. As soon as I tab or 'space over' to enter the next chord symbol, the last chord entered reverts to a serif font.

I've checked Macintosh HD >Library >Fonts. All the Sibelius.otf font files, including the Opus family, appear to be present. The other chord font options, Inkpen2 and Reprise, are behaving just fine. I've quit Sibelius and restarted my computer.

I also tried copying the Opus fonts to Macintosh HD >MyUserName >Library >Fonts, but that wasn't the fix (and none of the other Sibelius fonts were in that folder, anyway). Perhaps this is a simple fix, but I’m stumped. (Searched this forum and the web for an answer, but didn't find. Belajar Bilangan Biner Pdf Editor there. ) Does anyone out there have any advice? When I create a new score and select any House Style that uses the Arial font, the chord font in the score presents as a serif font, not the Opus Chords Sans that should appear by default (according to page 290 of the Sibelius First Reference pdf manual). Manually selecting the chords and applying a different font from the drop-down menu doesn't work, either. Adat Xt Service Manual.

Is there anyone out there who can help me with this issue? Thanks, Sibelius 7 First Mac OS 10.7.4 Lion Posted by - 26 Nov 08:57PM. Here's the deal. If you create such a score in First and read it into full Sibelius, you will find that the Chord Symbol test style uses the serif Opus Chords Std, not the sans variant.

If you create the same score in full Sib, it also uses Opus Chords Std. So I would expect the programs to use the same house style files, and it is probably an error in documentation, or maybe the house styles just got changed incorrectly. In full Sib, you can change the font for the Chord Symbol text style and export a new House Style that uses it, but that is not available in First. First can import house styles, though, so if you have only a few such styles that you want the change for, and know someone with full SIbelius, you could have them create a new score in a given house style, change the font for Chord Stmbols,a nd export a house style for you. You need to put the house style file in your *user* house styles folder. In Windows 7, my folder is at C: Users Bob AppData Roaming Avid Sibelius 7 First House Styles You might have to create these folders, as First does not really use them much.

If there are really only a few you need, you could tell us here which ones you want and someone would likely be able to make them up for you. -- Bob Sib 1.2 - 7, Windows 7 Pro SP 1 64 bit, 4 G RAM. Year 2013. Posted by - 27 Nov 08:11PM.
